　　Lin Zhang (1957.6-) Male, associate professor. He got his Bachelor's degree in 1983. And now, he is an associate professor in Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry of CAS. He is engaged in colloid and interface research, and has participated in and completed two programs of National Funds and Knowledge Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1989, as a main staff involved in the national key project "Study on coal-water slurry technology” in "Sixth Five-Year Plan", he has been awarded by certificate for the completion of this program by the ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China. And this project also gained the second-class award of scientific and technological progress of CAS. In 1988-1994, as one of the main researchers, he participated in the study on “the high concentration coal-water slurry in Shenmu”. And this project is cooperated with the third world laboratory in Italy. Then, he mainly studied on the biosensors enhanced by nanomaterials. He has been the participated of 4 research projects granted by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), 1 projects of Hi-Tech Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), 1 project of National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program). Three projects of them are on the combination of nanoparticles with biological molecules and nano-assembly bionic membrane. Three projects of them are the synthesis of nanoparticles and their surface modification. He has published over 30 papers and held 6 invention patents (4 of them are authorized).
