Yanlin Song

Prof. Yanlin Song received his B. S. and M. S. in 1989 and 1992 respectively, at Chemistry Department of Zhengzhou University, and Ph.D. degree in 1996 from Chemistry Department of Peking University, China. He was a post-doctor in Tsinghua University from 1996 to 1998, and joined in Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS) in 1998. He is now a research professor and the director of the Lab of New Materials in ICCAS. He was awarded the Second-Class Prize of the National Natural Science in China twice in 2005 and 2008. His research interests include organic materials for ultrahigh density information storage, preparation and application of photonic crystals and nano-materials. He has published more than 100 papers, and has been authorized 25 patents. He is a fellow of Chinese Materials Research Society and China Computer Industry Association, and editorial board member of the Open Materials Science Journal and Physical Chemistry: An Indian Journal etc.
